Effective 8 September 2026. This notice applies specifically to the Solarc Page Preflight Chrome extension.
1. What the extension reads
Only after you click “Run preflight”, the extension uses Chrome's active-tab and scripting capabilities to inspect the currently active page. The bounded checks cover page metadata and DOM signals such as headings, canonical metadata, image alt attributes, detectable names for links/buttons, form labels and form transport.
2. What the extension sends
The preflight result and inspected page content are not sent to Solarc Labs. The extension does not call a Solarc Labs API to perform the audit and does not append the inspected URL, title or findings to its outbound product links.
3. Storage
The extension does not persist inspected page content or preflight findings in Chrome storage. Closing the popup discards the displayed result.
4. Permissions
activeTab provides temporary access to the page you explicitly invoke the extension on. scripting is used to execute the bounded local audit in that active tab. The extension does not request persistent all-sites host access.
5. Links to Solarc Labs
The popup contains optional links to Solarc Labs free tools, AccessGuard, RevenueGuard and this privacy notice. Those links include campaign-attribution parameters identifying the extension and placement, but do not include inspected-page content or findings. Once you open the Solarc Labs website, the general Solarc Labs Privacy Notice applies to that website visit.
6. Boundaries
Page Preflight is a quick technical preflight. It is not a WCAG conformance audit, legal assessment, complete SEO audit, penetration test or guarantee that a customer journey works.
