Refund & Cancellation
Updated 7 September 2026. DomainGuard, AccessGuard, RevenueGuard and Competitor Radar are offered through monthly self-serve subscriptions. Solarc Labs also sells bounded one-time proof and fixed-scope services. Products without an express direct-purchase or subscription path remain governed by their written order.
A monthly subscription can be cancelled to stop future renewal. Unless applicable law or the checkout states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period, access can continue until that date, and no separate cancellation fee is charged.
Unused time in a current billing period does not automatically create a pro-rata refund. We will review duplicate or incorrect charges, material failure to provide the purchased service and any refund right required by applicable law. This policy does not remove mandatory consumer rights.
The US$5 First Paid Proof, US$50 Focused Diagnostic, US$99 Action Pack, EPR Preflight and InvoiceBatch FR are bounded one-time services. They can be cancelled for a refund before substantive work on the selected scope starts. After substantive work starts, any refund is assessed against work already performed and undelivered scope rather than a blanket no-refund rule.

1. Stop a subscription renewal
Use any Stripe-hosted subscription-management option made available for your account or contact us with the customer/company name, product and payment email so the subscription can be identified. A cancellation request stops later renewal once processed; it does not authorise further charges after the effective cancellation date.
2. Current paid billing period
For month-to-month plans, the default commercial treatment is access through the end of the already paid period after cancellation. We do not publish an automatic pro-rata refund for simple non-use. Where applicable law requires a different result, the mandatory rule prevails.
3. Incorrect charge or service failure
If you believe a charge is duplicated, incorrect or attached to a service that was materially unavailable, contact us promptly with the payment reference. The appropriate remedy may include correcting the charge, restoring the purchased service or refunding the affected amount depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
4. One-time service cancellation
If substantive work on a purchased one-time scope has not started, we will normally cancel and refund the order through the original payment route where practicable. Once substantive work has begun, we assess completed work, delivered evidence and undelivered scope rather than imposing an excessive fixed cancellation charge.
5. Other private-beta or bespoke pilots
ClientVault, InvoiceGuard and other products that do not expressly publish a self-serve subscription or direct-purchase checkout remain subject to the cancellation/refund treatment agreed in their written order. A small proof purchase does not automatically convert into a larger pilot or subscription.
6. Consumer and mandatory rights
Current paid Solarc Labs offers are primarily intended for business use. If you purchase as a consumer, mandatory consumer protections still apply. Nothing on this page removes rights that applicable law says cannot be excluded.
Cancellation should be easy to exercise and should not rely on hidden renewal terms. Subscription checkout and product pages must clearly state that billing recurs monthly until cancelled.
