Margin leak 01

Refunds can hide behind a healthy top line.

Revenue can keep rising while refund leakage quietly removes contribution. Map refunds separately instead of treating gross sales as the answer.

Margin leak 02

Fees and acquisition costs compound.

Payment/platform fees, ad spend and fulfilment costs can turn an apparently strong order period into a thin or negative margin period.

Margin leak 03

A dashboard matters only if you return.

The free product deliberately saves period snapshots. Repeat use is the validation gate for automation and subscription billing.

The free CSV result proves the value without asking for trust up front. Paid scope is reserved for repeated infrastructure: longer/cloud history, scheduled summaries, alerts, automated imports, multi-store views and team workflows.

Method + FAQ

Know what this result does — and does not — prove.

Profit Pulse uses the exact CSV columns and period costs you choose. It avoids pretending that incomplete ecommerce data is accounting truth.

How do I export my Shopify orders CSV?

In Shopify admin, open Orders and choose Export. Shopify can download smaller exports directly and emails larger or date-range exports. Open the exported CSV in Profit Pulse; no Shopify connection or OAuth permission is required.

Does Solarc upload my ecommerce or Shopify CSV?

No. The free Profit Pulse parses the CSV and stores optional period snapshots in your browser. It does not need store credentials, customer emails, shipping addresses or a Solarc account.

Which CSV columns can I use?

Choose one revenue column and optionally map refund, payment or platform fee, tax and COGS columns. Costs that are not present in the CSV, such as ad spend and fulfilment expense, can be entered separately.

Is this the same as accounting profit?

No. It is a contribution-profit diagnostic based only on the columns and period costs you provide. It is not bookkeeping, tax advice or a replacement for your accounting system.

Why save profit snapshots?

A single profit calculation is useful once. Repeating the same check weekly or monthly reveals whether margin is improving or leaking. That repeated workflow is what future paid monitoring is designed around.

Is the paid Profit Pulse subscription live?

Not yet. The free browser-local workflow is live first. The Stripe billing catalog is prepared, but paid checkout stays disabled until server-side subscription entitlements and the promised recurring features are deployed and verified.

Shareable utility

Finish the job, then pass the tool to the next person who needs it.

The free result stays useful on its own. Sharing points to the tool page only; unmatched commercial intent stays in the free-tool network instead of being forced into a generic product directory.

Publisher / community kit

For a README, newsletter, blog, forum answer or resource list: copy a clean production backlink without copying the visitor's input or result.

Attribution uses the tool slug and CTA placement only. Share and publisher links use the canonical production URL. The growth event contract never includes input text, uploaded-file contents or generated output.

Demand → exact tool → next useful action

Send people to this exact job, not the generic tools homepage.

Copy a channel-attributed deep link to Ecommerce Profit Pulse. Every link lands on this exact tool; the canonical page stays clean for search engines, and no visitor input or result is placed in the URL.

Can the value land before the explanation?

Use this as a silent-demo production template for Shorts, Reels, TikTok, a launch GIF or a community post. The first second should show the tension or transformation — not a logo, setup screen or narrated promise.

Vertical capture · 9:16

405×720 reference · 10s

Keep the actual input, primary action and proof result inside the central vertical frame; browser chrome is not the product proof.

Append ?wow=1 for the deterministic capture helper. It injects input only when an owned synthetic fixture exists, then captures the real tool action and result.

Transformation

opaque input/problem → visible useful answer

0–1 second · hook

Open on the problem and its visible outcome together; do not spend the first second on branding or setup.

1–6 seconds · action

Run Ecommerce Profit Pulse with short synthetic/public-safe demo data and keep the useful change centered.

6–10 seconds · proof

Hold on the concrete output or finding. If the value cannot be understood silently, the demo needs a stronger visual framing.

Safety / truth boundary: use synthetic or public-safe demo data only. Never show secrets, private customer material, fabricated metrics or a pass/certification claim the tool does not actually produce. This template improves demonstrability; it does not promise reach or virality.
